Prohibited Items on a Yacht
Sharp objects (knives, blades, large scissors) unless intended for yachting purposes
Pyrotechnics, fireworks, and any flammable substances
Any type of weapons
Corrosive, toxic, or strong-smelling substances
Flammable liquids, including alcohol-based aerosols (varnishes, large volume deodorants)
Large electrical devices (kettles, irons, coffee makers). The yacht's electrical system is not designed for their use.
Any substances banned by law in the country of travel
Many regions (such as Croatia) restrict the use of single-use plastic to protect the environment
Items Not Recommended on a Yacht
Hard suitcases. Instead, use soft bags or backpacks that can be easily folded
Too many "just in case" items can be overwhelming. Bring a minimal set suitable for the climate
Shoes with heels or dark soles that can damage or stain the deck
Strong-smelling perfumes or deodorants can be unpleasant in confined spaces
High risk of loss or damage
Electronics that won't be used (e.g., multiple cameras or a laptop if it's not needed)
